Fair Housing For All.
It's the Law.
The Arizona Fair Housing Center (AFHC) is a private non-profit, civil right advocacy organization operating in the state of Arizona.
Its mission is to eliminate housing discrimination. The AFHC is a section 501(C) 3 organization and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Arizona Fair Housing Center receives funding from federal, local governments, and private donations.
The Center greatly appreciates our funding sources because without their support the Center cannot accomplish its mission and continue to serve Arizona communities.
- There were 28,181 reported complaints of housing discrimination in 2016.
Of these, private fair housing organizations were responsible for addressing 70%,
the lion’s share of all housing discrimination complaints nationwide.
